Welcome to the Teamsters Joint Council 75 Organizing Page

Organizing is Teamwork, and Teamwork is the key to successful organizing! By gaining a critical mass of members in an industry, you have real Power. The Teamsters have an excellent program to educate, organize, and expand organized labor.

Are you willing to become involved to help build a better future for yourself and your family? Are you dissatisfied with your current wages, benefits, or working conditions? Then say UNION YES and call the Teamsters Joint Council 75 at (813) 621-1391.

For organizing in Florida you may contact Randy Pines, Organizer at (813) 621-1391, Ext. 185.

U.S. Labor Law:

American workers have fought for and won rights on the job. Stand up and stand together. You have rights and our rights as Americans are protected.

U. S. Labor Law says it’s illegal for employers to engage in:

  • Surveillance of workers who attend Union meetings, or any undercover activity which would indicate that employees are being spied on;
  • Threatening or punishing workers with termination, layoff, cut hours, cut duties, or discipline for Union activity;
  • Granting or promising wage increases, benefit improvements, promotions, improvements in working conditions, or special concessions to keep the Union out;
  • Threatening to or actually closing the facility or slashing operations to punish Union activity;
  • Questioning employees about Union matters, Union meetings, Union interest, how they intend to vote or about other employees feelings towards a Union;
  • Threatening to move the facility or failing to grant a scheduled wag increase because of Union activity.

All of these acts violate Federal Labor Laws - and your rights as Americans! Stand up for your dignity, and respect on the job. Report all violations - your employer must respect your rights.

Advantage of Being Union
